We need your help today. AB-2223 was introduced in the California State Assembly, which would severely restrict California residents' access to hemp-derived CBD products. Please take action to protect your access by contacting your California lawmakers! 

The proposed language would limit hemp products, including tinctures, to 0.25 mg THC per serving and 1 mg THC per package. These arbitrary THC limits would effectively eliminate access to non-intoxicating full-spectrum hemp products currently available on the market.

The products that Charlotte's Web manufactures and sells are full-spectrum hemp products with naturally occurring CBD. Full-spectrum products contain trace amounts of other plant compounds, including THC at less than 0.3% as permitted under the 2018 Farm Bill. 

Unfortunately, this isn't the first state we've seen try to enact regulations on our industry that are detrimental to consumers seeking to manage their wellness. We've been working hard with legislators in states across the country to ensure our family of customers has access to the highest quality CBD. Surprisingly, even states that allow recreational cannabis sales are trying to regulate hemp products in a way that prevents most people from easily accessing these products, i.e., by forcing them into licensed cannabis dispensaries only.
